About Costco Tire Service Center

Costco Tire Service Center is a tire shop in Salem, Oregon. It is listed at 4885 27th Ave SE, Salem, OR 97306, which places it among the local businesses of Salem that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In Salem, a plug or patch repair usually takes under half an hour without an appointment, while a full set of tires with alignment is best booked ahead. Compare the out-the-door price across shops in Oregon, since installation fees vary more than the tires themselves. Keep the receipt: the tire warranty and any road-hazard coverage are tied to it. Demand peaks before winter and before summer road trips. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop sells used tires or handles truck and trailer tires, and its Google rating before you drive over on a spare.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10 am–8:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Costco Tire Service Center at (503) 371-1729; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is costco.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

With 3.6 out of 5 on Google from 98 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for tire shops in Salem. Recent reviews are the best guide.

Salem is in Oregon, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Salem follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I was notified of my tires being delivered at the shop via the Costco app. I made a same day appointment for install. Andres got us checked in and we were out with in 45 mins. Very straightforward and easy process.

Will never buy from Costco again. Every rotation takes an hour or more. Today, currently at an hour and 30 minutes, not including that I dropped it off a few minutes early. A rotation should be 10-15 min tops. And they never have more than one person at the desk, so if somebody is buying tires or getting a quote everyone else waits 15 min extra. Terrible model.

Don't buy there. Manager won't admit his staff made a mistake, car needed new transfer case as they didn't say replace all 4 on 4wd. Never again

Really dissapointed. Tires with 27,000 and a 80,000 warranty tread wear worn below safe levels. Perform measurements that do not indicate actual tread wear (ex. 2-3/32) Will not honor BF Goodrich warranty and will not honor tread wear measurement methods BF Goodrich specifies for warranty coverage. Rotation performed yearly at Toyota meeting warranty requirements. Terrible attitude and no interest in retaining business or honoring agreements. Would give less than one star. Update: after filling a complaint twice with corporate they gave me some credit toward new tires. Still had to pay more $ to be safe.

I would recommend buying elsewhere. I had an appointment (at a time they suggested) and it took over an hour for them to even start on the vehicle. Watching them work, I can see why they’re so slow. The techs spend about half their time talking with each other, and not actually performing any work. So not only am I here way longer than is reasonable, I also have no confidence my tires are being installed correctly or safely. Any potential saving aren’t worth it, shop somewhere else.
